Shaft and riser doors for every service core

Steel access doors for service shafts, risers and meter cupboards — powder-coated and made to measure, and supplied as certified fire doors where the shaft is a protected one.

  • Powder-coated
  • RAL custom
  • Made to measure
  • Fire-rated option
In short: A shaft door closes the access opening into a service shaft or riser — electrical, plumbing, ventilation or a meter cupboard. Unigon supplies it as a steel door, powder-coated in any RAL colour and made to measure. Where the shaft is a protected (fire-compartment) shaft, the door is supplied as a certified fire door (EI 45–120) to the fire-safety design under Government of Georgia Decree No. 41.

Behind every finished corridor is a service core — risers carrying cables, pipes and ducts between floors, and the cupboards that hold meters and valves. The doors onto those shafts have to be tough, tidy and, where the shaft is a fire compartment, fire-rated. Unigon makes them as steel doors with a durable powder-coat finish, in any RAL colour, sized to each opening.

When a riser passes through fire compartments, its access doors are part of the fire separation and are supplied as certified fire doors in the class the design sets (EI 45, 60, 90 or 120). As with every fire door, the required class comes from the building's fire-safety design prepared under the technical regulation approved by Government of Georgia Decree No. 41 — not from us. For non-fire shafts, a plain steel technical door does the job.
