Evacuation doors that open under pressure, every time
Emergency-exit doors on an escape route — fire-rated to your design, fitted with anti-panic hardware so they open from the inside under a crowd, and handed over with their certificates.
- Anti-panic hardware
- Certified
- Made to measure
- Decree No. 41
An evacuation door has one job that matters above all others: to let people out, fast, when they are frightened and pushing. That is a hardware problem as much as a fire-resistance one. Unigon builds evacuation doors as certified steel fire doors and fits them with anti-panic bars, so a single push on the bar releases the latch — no handle to find, no key to turn.
Where the escape route is also a fire separation, the same door carries a fire-resistance class (EI 45, 60, 90 or 120). Which class, and which hardware, is set by the building's fire-safety design prepared under the technical regulation approved by Government of Georgia Decree No. 41 — we build the door to that design, we do not assign the class.
Where evacuation doors are used

- Exit doors from assembly spaces — halls, retail, hospitality
- Any opening the fire-safety design marks as an evacuation route

FAQ
Evacuation doors — common questions
What makes a door an evacuation door?
The hardware and where it sits. An evacuation door is on a designated escape route and is fitted with anti-panic hardware so it opens from the inside under pressure, without a key. Where the route is also a fire separation, it is fire-rated too.
Do evacuation doors have to be fire-rated?
Not always — it depends on whether the escape route is also a fire compartment line. The building's fire-safety design, prepared under the technical regulation approved by Government of Georgia Decree No. 41, sets the required class for each opening. We supply the door to that class.
What is anti-panic hardware?
A horizontal push bar across the inside of the door. Pushing anywhere on the bar releases the latch, so a crowd moving toward the exit opens it without needing a handle or key. We fit it as the standard hardware on evacuation doors.
Can you supply double-leaf evacuation doors?
Yes. Evacuation doors come in single or double leaf, made to measure, with the anti-panic hardware and closer matched to the opening.
Do you deliver and install outside Tbilisi?
Yes. We supply and install across Tbilisi, Batumi, Kobuleti, Rustavi and other cities in Georgia, with certificates handed over for your inspection.
Need evacuation doors for a project?
Send the door schedule — class, size and quantity — and we quote per project across Tbilisi, Batumi, Kobuleti, Rustavi.
